Arctic Mukluk boots

Mukluk is the traditional footwear for Arctic aboriginal people such as the Yupik and Inuit, these boots are made from seal skin or reindeer skin which is usually found in abundance in Arctic Regions.

Due to  the harsh living conditions in the Arctic living, in  their type of lifestyle any animal sourced for food does not go to waste,
 by-products such as animal skin are suited to outerwear such as over coats and footwear.
The Mukluk boots are of a soft texture and are designed to keep out the cold and go up to mid calf length. Modern day Mukluk’s are made from wool blend knitted and joined with a soft leather shoe.
